Ministries

Pinedale Elementary School Outreach

Every Thursday during the school year we do a Good News Club which is a weekly interdenominational Christian program for 5-to-12-year-old children featuring a Bible lesson, songs, memory verses, and games. This after school program is from 3-4:15 p.m.

Lamb Chop Ministries helps feed families with too much month at the end of the money. If you are working, live in the Rapid City area and need help, or if you would like to make a cash or in kind donation to our ministry please contact Lea Patterson at 520-300-1093 for more information.

Burundi Ministries

The Burundi Food Fund is an arm of International Child Care Ministries of the Free Methodist Church denomination. Burundi is one of the poorest countries in Africa and many children do not have good nutritional food or much food at all.

Money given to the Burundi Food Fund goes to supply a highly nutritious cereal called Busoma to children and their families. For 20 cents, one child gets one meal!! Our children (and adults) at Freedom Church have taken the Burundi Food Fund on as a project and have fed many children and their families in Burundi. Praise the Lord for giving hearts!!

If you are looking for a deeper experience in your life and here at Freedom Church, a small group is for you!

These groups are a great way to get to know Jesus on a deeper level. Not only do we study the Bible, we also have discussions, Q and A times, prayer for each other, and really good fellowship.

Small Group Ministry

The Prayer and Praise Ministry at Freedom Motorcycle Church is for each and everyone. It is open for all who need prayer as well as for a loved one. A certain time where God is needed more or just to open your heart to the Lord.

Each week, our Prayer Warriors will pray over those in need and celebrate the answers. If you wish, you do not need to give your name…..God knows who you are!

Young Adult Fellowship is a ministry reaching out to young adults inside and outside of Freedom Church. At this time, we meet every other Thursday to eat together (free food), study the Word of God together, have fun and grow in our fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ and each other. This group is open to any young adults in their senior year of high school and beyond.

Kids Ministry

We love our Freedom Kids! We know that the future is in our children so we want to equip them with the best spiritual tools we can. What your children can expect when they come to Freedom Kids Church:

1. the children sit with their parents/guardians until the worship time is over
2. when dismissed they go to the group room
3. we take an offering for starving children in Burundi, Africa
4. the kids are then excused to go to their assigned classrooms (pre-k, 1st-3rd, 4th-5th grade)
5. kid’s will return to their families during the last song

In the summer we will have a week of Vacation Bible School and a one-day Warrior Conference for girls 10-15 years old.

The Freedom Riders participate in the Area Bikers ministry to the forgotten Elderly. We receive donations throughout the year and use every penny toward this ministry. Some of the things that the money goes toward is wheelchair washing, Christmas gifts, blankets and etc.

Some of the elderly in our community are put in care facilities and then simply forgotten. It is our goal to participate in ways to show them love and that they haven’t been forgotten. We love our senior adults in our community.

Freedom Riders

The leather and the motorcycles are just tools to let us share God’s love with our brothers and sisters who like to ride. We wear the Freedom Church patch as a ministry to show the world that we belong to Jesus and that we are here to share His good news and love with others.

During the nicer weather months (roughly May – Oct) we ride after church on Sundays as a group taking many different routes throughout the area from the Badlands to Devils Tower and all over the Black Hills. All are welcome to join us: 2, 3, or 4 wheels. Our moto is basically “For the love of God, lets ride!”

Our youth group meets every other Thursday night from 6pm – 8pm in the basement of the church. We share dinner, discuss the assigned Bible reading both in meaning and application, and play games.

Our youth group also has alternate site nights where we may meet at a park, bowling alley, or other interactive sites. We have fun with a purpose.
